Raising the Standards Together - New Issues Coming Summer 2026
We’re pleased to announce that new issues of the SALSA Standard are coming this summer. The updates cover all four SALSA Standards:
- Food & Drink Production Issue 7
- SALSA plus Beer Issue 5
- SALSA plus Cheese Issue 7
- Brokers, Storage & Distribution Issue 2
The new issues reflect current best practice in food safety and keep SALSA aligned with the expectations of buyers, enforcement bodies, and the wider food and drink industry.
Key Dates
From 1 June 2026, the new issues will be available on our website for you to view and start preparing.
From 1 September 2026, all SALSA audits will be conducted against the updated Standards.
Whether your next audit is this autumn or next summer, we’d encourage you to start preparing as soon as the new issues are available.
