• 90% strongly agreed or agreed that it enabled them to meet customer requirements

• 85% strongly agreed or agreed that SALSA was essential to their business

• 70% strongly agreed or agreed that they attracted new customers

• The Net Promoter Score was 55 - well above average!

Key findings indicate that businesses highly value SALSA certification for its accessibility compared to alternatives like BRCGS, enabling them to demonstrate food safety and gain customer trust. While many respondents praised auditors and resources, finding the audit criteria proportionate for micro and small businesses, some users suggested improvements such as enhanced traceability support and better document templates.
